Dead battery in the Key fob. Or the car battery is dead. There should be a slot on the lower left side of the dash. You slide the fob in buttons up key chain out. They had allot of problems with that system in 2008-2009.
A LOCKSMITH MIGHT BE A LITTLE CHEAPER but with the chip keys they arent cheap. if you just want one to unlock doors have a regular key cut without chip this will be much cheaper although it wont crank vehicle it will get you in if locked out
I JUST TOOK MINE OFF YESTERDAY. (MARCH 1, 2008) YOU NEED TO UNSCREW THE PHILLIPS SCREW IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CHROME LATCH. THEN YOU WANT TO POP THE COVER OFF WITH A FLAT HEAD SCREW DRIVER. THEN FINALLY REMOVE THE 10mm SIZE BOLTS WITH A RATCHET. THATS IT.......GOOD LUCK......THIS GAVE MY ARMADA A SLEEK/DIFFERENT LOOK WITHOUT THE ROOF RACK
