My 2002 Malibu turn signals have acted up lately. They work most of times, but sometimes just stop working, no lights or clicking sound. When they don't work, other electrical systems appear to work just fine. A day or even a few hours later, the signals work again. Any solutions and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Did you try turning the wheel/knob next to the head light switch? It's the dimmer for your interior lights. Sometimes that happens and some ppl don't know about it. Not sure how familiar you are with it so thought I'd throw that out there.
chevy had an issue with the blinkers and hazards not working all the time i found that when my turn signals stop working push the hazard switch until they blink then the turn signals start working again. its a faulty turn signal/hazard switch that needs to be replace costs about 30 bucks pretty simple to replace.
The abs light will reset every time the vehicle is shut off. The most common cause of the abs light coming on is a bad wheel speed sensor. A scan tool would be the option to locate the fault in the abs system.
Google Service Bulletin No. 04098A. There is a recall for the hazard switch. My car's vin is not within the range, but I have the blinker problem. I was told by the Chev. 800 number that if a dealer determines that is the problem they will replace it. You can also buy the switch for about $20 and replace it yourself if you don't want to have to deal with a service dept.
the switch in the column has dirt in it or is coming apart most likely.always replace bulbs and flasher(s)
