Question about 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI
A few days ago, I left my lights on for about 6 hours while I was at work. By the time I could get out to my car and turn them off, my car was totally dead. I got it jumped the next day, but now my radio wont turn on. I can't get my cds out of my disc changer in the trunk, I checked the fuse, and its not blown, but i replaced it anyway. I have no clue what else to try, but Im going crazy without a radio..
Your radio have a code in it. Its a security feature like if someone stole your radio they wonted know the code and wouldn't be able to use it. Take the vehicle to the dealer or you make be able to take your registration proof of id to the dealer and for a fe they will be able to get the code for you. Or on second though check you owners manual maybe the code is on a sticker in the manual on the radio page or in the manual. Remember this must be the orignal radio for this vehicle. Good Luck
