Question about 1993 Jeep Cherokee Country

93 cherokee blower/heater not working

Ok my blower/heater stopped working recently and i asked this prob before and i truley thought it was in fact the motor dying out. but then last night it randomly started working again, it was no huricane but it was something. what could this be?

Replace your blower resistor located under the passenger side dash.

there is a blower motor resister. it creates a lot of heat sometimes melting the electrical plug. check the plug for signs of melting and check the resister for deformation. Both parts can be purchased at rockauto.com

first prob was buying a SAAB... either your heater core is plugged.. not cheap!! or you motor thermostat is not working... much cheaper!!!!

has your heater stopped or has ur motor blower resistor burned out or has the fuse for blower fan just burnt out ? are you heater lines from motor cirrculating?

1992 Jeep Cherokee climate controls just stopped working


unplug the blower motor, try that, i have seen a direct short in the blower motor cause that. also check the blower moror resistor--again another fault---hope that was helpful

Heater stopped working


check blower motor.. give it a tap when you start the vehicle and turn on the heat.. if it come on then you would have to replace the blower motor..if it does not check for fuse..

93 cherokee sport heater fan


Looking at the Fuse diagram on my jeep manual, the blower motor fuse is a 30 amp (green) and should be in # 6. From the top of the box it is in the second row from the right second from the top. That gets you to the fuse. If that does not get you going, I will try to help you find anything else you need.
