The speed control of your fan has resisters that are in the venting system to blow air on them to keep them cool. If they overheat and or burn you will lose your low and medium speeds of the fan. If you run the fan at full see if the smell goes away. Your engine could be burning oil on the outside of the engine block, make sure that the weatherstrip where your hood meets the fresh air intake grill is sealing tight.

HO2S-12 (Bank 1 Sensor 2) Heater Circuit Malfunction

Possible Causes:

Remove_dashboard for nissan sentra 2003 heater core


check under the hood first. some cars have the heater core in the engine compartment, attached to the firewall. find the heater hoses and follow them from the block to the firewall. if they go into the firewall, then the heater core is under the dashboard.

A code P0155 may mean that one or more of the following has happened:
  • O2 Heater element resistance is high
  • Internal short or open in the heater element
  • O2 heater circuit wiring high resistance
  • open or short to ground in the wiring harness

Remove alternator to replace block heater? How do you remove the belt on the alternator?


TO REMOVE ALTERNATOR LOOSEN LOCKNUT ON TOP ALTERNATOR BRACKET THEN LOOSEN ADJUSTING BOLT TO ALLOW SLACK TO REMOVE THE DRIVE BELT.

Nissan Sentra 2001 Heater Blower motor only works on High speed no other settings; bought the resistor to replace, but cannot find where is the location, how to access;


Replacement resistor goes in heater box under Passengers side dash close to floor grab a manual best 20 bucks you can invest.Have to remove a panel or two and maybe the glovebox.

Wabasto quit cant find block heater on 2001 2500 cummins wont start too cold


small paraffin stove under the engine will help start it,but i have no idea where the heater is on the block ,i would imagine its fitted into a core plug hole about half way up the block but what side ??

Crank sensor position location


Follow your plug wires to coil pack and module. Once you found the module, follow the wires from there to crank sensor on engine block.
