I recently bought a 2008 dodge avenger. I went out to start it and it will no turn over. My dash lights come on and i recieve a message in the odometer that reads No bUs which leads me to believe it is not the battery. Do you have any information that will help. Thank You
Have it towed to the dealership. DO NOT TAKE IT ANYWHERE ELSE. You just bought it let the dealership deal with it. It may just be a relay that is bad or the computer is malfunctioning and if that's the cause the car will not stop

The dash lights are powered by or thru the body computer. The headlight switch and dash dimmer switch signal the body computer to power the dash lights. You may need a shop manual to get the wiring diagrams necessary to troubleshoot the circuit.
Just bought a 2013 dodge avenger, literally yesterday. Test drove fine twice,, drove all over town for license and registration, multiple erands. No problems. I got to work and went to leave for lunch and was introduced to the no bus code. Left me stranded the very day i purchased it,, only 25000 miles. Is this problem simple enough to weather or is this the brightest red flag to take it back?
