2005 Town & Country stalls when turning the heater on

We have a 2005 Town and Country Limited which stalls when the heater is turned on. It has 63,000 miles on it. Previously (for a few months) , when the heat or AC was running we could hear an intermitant loud noise.

Now, today, as I was driving the car up to our local repair shop, I could not duplicate the problem. Weird. Yesterday it warmed up around here, today it is cold. The repair shop said to bring it back when the problem occurs again. :)

Sounds like the heater is drawing down the battery. Which would be a battery or alternator problem most likely. If not check the amp draw of the blower motor .

The heater in my 2005 chrysler town and country mini van blows heat then turns cold

Make sure your radiator is full of coolant, if it is low the heater core cant get enough hot coolant in it to keep the air warm. If that's not the poroblem it could be a problem with your air exchanger that switches from hot to cold which could be a vaccume line leak. But I bet you're just low on Coolant.
