Unless you have a tank full of water there is no worries. There is no heat plug that prevents freezing because gasoline has a very low freezing point ( like 90 degrees below zero) . So just make sure you dont have water or diluted fuel and dont have any worries about it.

I have a 06 dodge grand caravan when my van it gets at a quarter tank of gas and when i stop it will shut off and as it gets lower to the E it gets worse shutting off i try not to let it get below a q

The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. The pump is cooled by the fuel. Once the fuel level get down to the 1/4 tank, the fuel module has very little fuel to dissipate heat into. If the pump is aging and getting hot, this will cause it to bind and stop working. I don't believe the sending unit is bad, since your fuel gauge seems to be reading correctly. You have some choices here. You can get a new pump and have it installed in the existing module assembly. The pump runs about $90.00 US. Replacement involved pulling the fuel pump module from the tank, disassembling it and replacing the pump, reassembling it and replacing the module in the tank. You can replace the entire module, which includes the pump, strainer, float, sending unit. This runs about $230.00 US. These prices are for parts only. Labor is extra.

What could caus a gas smell in 2006 dodge caravan in the rear of the van?

A leaky hose, does it seem to happen more when the tank is full? I would make an appointment at a shop to have it looked at.

Maybe water in the gas. Try adding a bottle of HEAT or other moisture remover to the gas tank.

in USA? why not say at the very least where on earth you are
not neighbood, but the COUNTRY.
Ill answer in USA as Im there, and the EVAP is complex here.
worst case.
you plug in a scan too, you scan the ECU,
and do you get DCT's there are many for EVAP.
the smog stations here put on pressure test on the filler neck
and can tell you in under 10second, hey fella? the EVAP system is breached (vent leaks)
look for pending DTCs too, and freeze frame.
the freeze frame will store the last fail, in case you missed it.

you have tank vent failure and all usa cars get real upset with those. DTC'S a bunch.
DTC = diagnostic trouble codes.

a scan tool is as low as $7 , they can be rented too. etc./.........

Temperature gauge staying on C

first thing i would do is the simplist, and change the thermostat. if that doesnt help, then you may need to backflush the heater core, because sometimes these will plug up.

If you smell gas inside of the caravan, then something is wrong other than a tune up. You need to have the gas tank, gas vapor recirculation, gas lines, in-line filter, and gas filler tube examined. It could be linking in any one of these places.

How do i take off the gas tank of a dodge caravan

First disconnect the negative wire from battery. Raise the rear othe van and use jackstands to support it. Remove the filler cap and disconnect the filler line to tank. Connect a hose and drain or siphon fuel out of tank into a fuel container. Remove the screws from the filler tube to the van body. Disconnect all wiring and hoses from the tank and mark each to help you remember how to put it back together. Remove the mounting bolts and nuts, lower the tank slightly and remove the filler tube. Lower the tank more and support it while disconnecting the rollover/vapor separator valve hose. Then remove the tank. Installation is the reverse of removal. Be sure to have a fire extinguisher (class b type) to use incase of a fire. Hope this will help you.

I think the fuel filter is inside the tank, and when they get clogged it is time to replace the fule pump. thy not to drive the vehicle around so close to empty.
