It might need another can, with ac on and controls turned to ac max the compressor should start cycling as the freeon is added. if not you might have a low or high pressure switch that is bad check fuzes incase you blew the fuse for the ac compressor

2003 ford focus no cool air is blowing out. Could it be the evaporation cord?

Make sure your blower fan is turned on and is blowing air. When you push your a/c button the yellow light should come on. If it is not blowing cool, it could be several things. Low on 134a or the control that has the a/c button on it could be bad or blown fuse, bad compressor, etc. If the air is cool but not cold the 134A is low. If it is still blowing hot, check and make sure that the clutch on the compressor is locked in. It most likely is not. Check ac fuses and ac relay, if they are good, check the 134a ,if low, refill it. This should fix it. Remember that if the a/c clutch is not locking in, you cannot add 134a because of no circulation. On some vehicles, if it is completely out of 134a, the relay will not trip and you will have to bypass the relay to provide power to the compressor to fill it. If you do all of these and it still does not work, you will need to take it to a professional. If you need to, reply back and I will give you more possibilities.(I think that you mean evaporator coil)

My 2001 ford focus ac light is blinking but hot air is coming out.

Could mean a stuck button? Try disconnecting your battery (remember your radio code) then work the buttons. All may return when reconnecting? If not have the air-conditioning system checked. :)

The over drive light keeps blinking and AC blowing hot air. I have changed the fuses but they keep blowing

The overdrive light blinking, possibly is indicating a faullt in the trans. Changing the fuse will do nothing for this. Unsure on AC fault.

When I turn on the A/C the light will blink, compared to normally staying on solid and not blinking. The A/C blows out hot air now. What is the problem?

Well, this is telling you ,the ac needs attention, first guess,is,that the freon is to low for the ac to come on,or it is empty of freon, have the ac checked, and then make sure they put in u-v-dye to detect the leak when it does leak down again. If this was helpful,at all, please rate, thank you.

Aiconditioning blows hot air Ford Focus 2004

Your valve that shuts off the hot water to your heater core is not closing.Your AC is running but it is trying to cool down 200Deg. air.May be a issue with the heater/AC contol in the dash or the mixing valve stuck open.

How do i charge the air conditioner on a 2000 ford focus. Where are the connectors

Look for the ac compressor, and locate the large ac line coming off the ac compressor.Follow it until you come to the ac charge port.this is where you charge it up with a charge hose that you have.Put the can on the can tap,and the quick connect to the ac port on the ac.Turn the t handle on the can tap clockwise until all the way down.hold the can upside down.start engine and turn the ac on high blower.and recirculate.shake can lightly, until the can empties.Turn the t handle counter clock wise, almost all the way out,and remove the can .Repeat to add another can,Don`t put too much freon in,and add ac oil also.If it lost freon,it lost oil, failing to do this could cause the ac compressor to lock up.One 4 oz can will be fine.look for the large ac line to get cold, and the accumulator to get real cold, then stop with the freon.

Where do i put freon in on a 2005 focus

Your focus should not take freon. Freon is used in older cars from 1995 on back. Your focus should take R134 and the plug for your AC should be located under the passenger side wheel well (yes ford makes things so convenient). Just unscrew the little plastic crews in you wheel well and attach the gauge and can of R134 (should take a little more than 2 large cans).
