Question about 2004 Chevrolet Impala
If you are smelling gas when you are at a stop, or at rest then this is your fuel pressure regulator.. mine went out about three months ago and i went and got the part from auto zone for like 50 bucks and put it on myself but it was very hard and tricky. you dont want to make any sparks because you could go boom from all the fumes. the best thing is to take it to a side shop and they can put it on for like 80 bucks after you buy the part. the deaaler charges like 300 dollars for this thing. i checked...lol
