Question about 2001 Honda CR-V
Honda 2001 CR-V, 2WD, 2000 cm3, 108 kW
While in D mode (4th speed), car can not go over 4200 rpm and more then 95 mph. Fuel consumption is much higher then normal.
In 1st, 2nd and 3rd speed, motor works normally and goes over 4200 rpm easily.
Valves have been checked, valve clearance also and transmission fluid replaced.
What you have is simple. The vehicle's computer only allows the vehicle to reach up to 95mph. as a safety feature. If you're racing it, you will need to get ahold of an OBD 2 linkable program to change your maximum vehicle speed.
