Question about 2002 Jeep Liberty
I took a apart the center console to clean it really well. Now the dash indicator is displaying wrong. When in 2H it says "Part Time" when in 4H the light goes out ( like it is in 2H). I did not disassemble any electrical, I just took off the console cover.
Any idea of what to do?
Obviously something got crossed up while it was apart! Either leave it alone and get used to it (I once had a 59Chevy impala that when left turn signal was on, entire dash flashed on and off with signal. I just laughed and left it alone) if it is still functioning properly. OR: take it apart again and look to see what got messed up!
Have fun (stop being such a neat freak!!!! a little dirt is good for the soul !!)

this warning light or any other stays on in the dash it is indicating
that the systems control module (or the system sensor in the case of
lights like low oil pressure, door open indicators etc.) has detected
a fault, it then disables the system (this applies to ABS,TCS, TCM,
SRS, TPMS and BCM faults and others) as long as the light is on. You
must now have the dealer hook up a special electronic diagnostic tool
and "scan" the system for the fault code that is stored for
