When the car is turned on the car starts shaking with a loud noise coming from the middle front of the car even when its idle. The car takes a big push to reach 60km/h and the steering wheel is hard and wont turn unless i force it, the mechanic told me that, two of the cylinders dont work, which i find hard to believe because the car is still drivable even though it over heats in about 20 minutes any solutions?

I would have a compression test run. The mechanic is probably right.

This may be as simple as some cells in your car battery being knocked out. Try a jumpstart and if this works then it is the battery.

SOURCE: Loud noise from rear of car

It happened in our car as well. The problem with our car was the bushings on the rear suspension needed to be replaced.

It is not an inexpensive problem and one that only the dealer could fix, at least according to a couple of shops I spoke with b4 I went to the dealer. With an alignment ( 4wheel - ours is AW), it costs around $900.

SOURCE: 1989 jaguar xj6 new engine or new cylinder???

At that price replace the engine. Make sure though that you get a warranty for the engine that includes the cost of installation if the new one fails. Most shops will warranty for 90 days which is long enough to find out if there is going to be a problem.

SOURCE: steering difficult(slow) and a whining noise when turning wheel

The whine is most likely your power steering pump. Check the fluid in the pump. If you are low on power steering fluid you may have a leaking hose or fitting or the seals in the pump may have began leaaking. If you continue to run the auto without power steering fluid you will burn up the power steering pump very quickly.

When I turn on my jag it starts to shake, and makes a loud noise from the very middle of the vehicle what could it be?

you must test the fuel pump outputby disconnecting the line from the carburetor and checking for fuel delivery.
About the loud noise, you must see under your car if some parts is loose, otherwise, you must go to the repair shop, for inspection, since there are many mechanical can be loose or worn, such front end, exhaust , drivetrain disc brake, etc.

Front end squeeling noise on 2007 honda accord

could be the power steering pump itself. If it has a bad bearing it will do that. Especially when you turn it makes the steering pump work a lot harder.

remove the thermostat and place in a pan of water a boil and wait to see if the thermostat opens , as for the noise , get the thermostat sorted out and see if still makes the noise , could just have been caused by the overheating, one thing at a time so you know what the problem is
