Truck starts but will not idle

I have a 2000 f250 V10 and it will start but will not idle, stalls out unless I keep the idle up with the gas pedle

    HAVE U CHECKED THE OPERATION OF THE IDEL SPEED CONTROL VALVE ON THE SIDE OF THE THROTTLE BODY? UNPLUG IT AND SEE IF THERE IS ANY DIFF IN THE ENGINE SPEED WHILE HOLDING THE IDLE UP ENOUGH TO KEEP IT RUNNING.

IT COULD POSSIBLY BE THE INTAKE GASKETS. FORD HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE GASKETS GOING BAD. IF THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND GIVING YOU CODES PO171 AND PO174 I WOULD CHECK THE GASKETS BY SPRAYING CARB. CLEANER AROUND THE INTAKE WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. IF THE IDLE SPEEDS UP THEN THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM.

Have the idle bypass valve checked, also called idle air control valve.
If that valve is stuck in the closed position, it's not allowing the fuel to bypass the throttle plate to keep it idling, resulting in stalling, but will keep engine running if the pedal is pushed down.

Stalls when cold does not idle when first stared
IAC solenoid (Idle Air Control) is not working and remains closed .... air is passing thru the main air intake duct , opened by pedal ... and not by the air bleed conduct (must open while main must be closed .. Pedal Depressed.) Check IAC Solenoid and connectors. Replace if need....
