How do I change the battery

You have to Remove the Passenger Headlight to get to one side of it and remove the battery terminal and the battery tie down. then there is a section of the wheel well in front of the passenger tire, that has to be removed. I would suggest turning the steering wheel hard to the right and jack up the front of the car to give you self some room to work. once you remove the panel you should have access to the other battery terminal. I also removed the air box above the battery just to give my self some handling room, which just snaps in place. Then you should be able to worm the battery out from the wheel well.

Is there a trick to changing the battery? My car is completely dead so I have to put in new battery myself and it seems so hard. HELP!

there is a support brace above the battery that is held into place with 3 bolts (2 on one end and one on the other, they are 13mm I believe)-you need to remove this brace first then remove the neg terminal ( 8mm side attachment) then loosen the side hold-down clamp-you need a 13mm here too but with a 6 inch extension, then undo the positive terminal, then lift out the battery.

How do you remove the battery from a 1999 dodge caravan? I removed the terminals but it won't budge to lift out? There is no vivible support arm?

At the base of the battery, you should see a battery hold-down. It has one bolt going through it. Remove the bolt and the hold-down clamp and the battery should come right out.

    I hope this helps! :)

How can i change the battery for chvy venture 2001 extended van

    1. The battery is left-front-corner under the cross-mount and the main power point box.
    2. To remove the battery, you first need to remove the gray-black plastic cover over the windshield wiper/firewall top area.
    3. That done, you remove the bolts that hold down the left cross-brace, and you remove the brace from the engine compartment. With the brace out of the way, and with the power box moved to the side, you have access to the battery and its clamping bolts.
    4. There's a plastic clamping wedge down at the base of the battery that you'll want to remember to reinstall.
    5. Sounds complex; actually pretty simple.
