I am thinking this is more of an electrical problem perhaps. Have had battery, alternator, starter replaced and the problem continues. When it chooses not to start, sometimes you can leave it sit for hours and come back and it will start, sometimes days, sometimes minutes, you never know. When it decides not to start, it does not even turn over, just dead totally! Will check injectors for now, thanks, any other solutions, I would be happy to hear of any suggestions.

Ok, sorry, I should have been clearer. When I turn the key, you can hear a faint tick/click noise sometimes, but you have to have the hood up to be able to hear it. It is much fainter than the clicking you hear when you have a dead battery and try to start your car. Also, to clarify, all the lights, and heater work, the car just won't start / turn over. The starter was replaced, but I suppose it could be a bad one. Hope this helps.

Check battery cables and ground cables intermittent problems are difficult to fix   When you say totally you mean no dash lights no clicking of the starter. If so you have a power problem, a bad connection. Maybe at the starter    Not a injector problem

I'm thinking you may have a bad starter. Have someone try to start it and at that time hit the starter on the side hard with a hammer. DO NOT HIT THE SOLENOID IT WILL BRAKE

How to move tensioner on 1991 chevy corsica

The tensioner is the smooth pulley(back side of the belt,no grooves)
Think it's a 15mm bolt, just "tighten the bolt" and the spring loaded tensioner will move The pulley is steel on the 4 cyl, plastic on the V-6 The tensioner bolt is left hand thread so it won't unscrew when you realese the tension.

How do you change alternator on 1991 chevy corsica?

You have to take the serpentine belt off first, and then its just a bolt here and there and you'll have the old one out. They're a pain.

Sounds like a faulty sensor. Have you changed your fuel filter? Checked all vacuum lines? Any check engine light on?
