You need to replace the regulator inside the door. It's the little pulley system that will pull your window up and down when you push the button.
Takes about 20 minutes to fix, so you're looking at about 100.00 at the garage.

Your problem is simple, You do not have a pulley system as stated above you infact have a regular motor and when the assembely comes loose of the window this will happen,

Quick fix, you may duct tape it, if the window is not busted where the bolts go thru you may find the bolt in the bottom of the door and try to put it back in place and if all else fails and you would like a forever fix use fiber glass and resin the bolt into the window for a secure hold..

This is the way to succesfully fix the window system in a Dodge.

SOURCE: 2001 dodge durango passenger window wont go down

The motor has a pulley system that has probably come off. So the motor is working but not engaging the whole system. If you bring it in now, they can probably fix it with minimal repair. But don't count on it. I had the same problem and it cost around $175 to fix.

2005 Dodge Durango passenger window wont go down from drivers side switch

It sounds like everything else and the wiring is okay, only that button on the driver's switch is not working. I would try a new switch, if you see nothing wrong with the electrical plug for it when you take it off.
If that down wire was broken somewhere from the driver switch to the passenger door, I don't think the driver's switch would work for it either way, up or down. And same, neither would the passenger switch work. I think the button for down is not making contact somehow, and right in the switch.

1999 dodge durango, all the windows work except the front passenger window. Would this be a fuse problem? or is there something wrong with just that window?

HI there is one fuse for all the windows .
check the window switches. main switch on driver side and the passenger side
if window works with main switch .then you have bad switch on passenger
side .but if nothing works .it is the window motor

1999 Dodge Durango driver side window does not roll up nor down.

Remove the door panel and find the window motor Unplug it and using a separate car battery run cables directly to the window motor When you switch the polarity the motor will either bring the window up or down or if noting happened change the window motor and window regulator assembly.
