i think i have put bad fuel in my car because since then it has backfired, stalled, sputtered. I put total fuel system cleaner in my full tank of fuel that helped a bit, but its still stalling and has no power when my foot is flat on the accelerator. I dont no what to do? Do **** the fuel out??

My Honda civic 2005 150i takes long to start 5to 10 min but ones it starts it starts all the tym but when it stood awhile like two hours it does the same 5 to 10 min to start

Hi could you try this for me just leave the ignition on and don't start engine, leave on for a few minutes. then start engine. if it starts it could be the dispack or the fuel pressure valve.

You need it checked by your local auto electrician or friend who has a scanner. The reason check engine came on is a faulty sensor/component.

91 Accord Car will initially start then when driving it will die sometimes starts right away sometimes 10 or 20 minutes later but has gotten more frequent about dying and taking longer to start

I have a 1991 honda accord dx that had the same problem. while driving it would just completely shut down. after about 5 minutes it start and run for a while then shut down again getting more frequently. There was a recall on the ignition control module (ignitor) which is in the distributor. call your local honda dealer with your vin # and will tell you if yours was replaced. If not I bought one from parts store for $60 or you could take a chance and buy one from a junk yard. I bought the whole distributor for $20 as a back up.

89' honda civic lx dies after 10 minutes or warms up?

it is probably your distributer. It has a internal amplifier and when it gets hot, it quits working.

The gas filter could partially be at fault, but have a fuel pressure test done, and also have the throttle position sensor checked. good luck.
