Look for your flasher relax it is clicking? may need to be replaced usually they are abotu 1" in diameter, round and with an metal or aluminum body, but not all the time. Should be in the fuse panel in the car. Some vechicles have incorperated it into the emergency flasher switch when its located in the dash where you have to just replace that.

What is wrong when 1st the rt. Turn signal didnt work and would buzz behind the glove box. 2nd neither signal worked. I checked the fuses which were ok. Then I replaced flasher breaker, nothing helped

There is a flasher relay behind or under the dash at the glove box. Usually looks like a plastic or small square metal box. About an inch square. Pull to unplug and replace. I usually look on Rock Auto to view the part to help locate it before I try to remove it.

My turn signals stopped working suddenly on my 1992 ford probe lx. Prior right side was blinking faster. Changed signal switch next to steering column changed turn sinal/hazzard flasher by the clutch...

If this is not working on the right side and is OK on the left side then one of the indicator lamps on the right side has blown out. The reduced load on the right hand indicators causes the flasher can to flash faster.
Try turning on the hazard switch then walk around your car to see which lamp has blown out.

After towing another car quite a distance with the hazard lights on, the next day the turn signal werent working. i was told to change out the signal switch on the steering wheel so i did but a new one...

OK, you've been thru the wringer. Unf, i cannot find info on where your flasher is, but there are a couple common places to check. It's usually under the dash on the driver's side. Sometimes it's plugged right into the fuse box. Other times it's clamped to the steering column or under dash. Sometimes it IS behind the glovebox--not IN the glovebox. See if you can get behind it, either pull it past it's stops or get under the dash and look behind. You may have to pull a panel off or something to see in.
I'm pretty sure they wore out your flasher and it was really bad advice to tell you to replace the signal switch in the steering column. :o(

Turn signals not working, where is flasher located

Do they light up at all?  If they light up but do not blink then is flasher which will be under dash by steering column or behind glove-box.
I suggest that there may be a recall on this though - do a google search and if so the dealer will replace the defective unit in the steering column for free. See same recall for Malibu!
Hope this helps.

I am looking for the fuse box to replace the signal flasher, i can not seem to find it. we have a 1994 olds cutlass supreme sl

The turn signal flasher is mounted in a clip on the right side of the steering column support bracket. The hazard flasher is located in the component center, under the instrument panel, on the right side. Replace the flasher by unplugging the old one and plugging in the new one.

Fig. 1: On some vehicles, you may have to remove a cover for access to the main fuse block

Fig. 2: The main fuse block is in or under the glove compartment

The Main Fuse Block is located in the underside of the instrument panel, in or behind the glove compartment. Remove the access cover in the glove compartment to access the fuse block. Spare fuses and a fuse puller should always be kept here. Various convenience connectors, which snap-lock into the fuse block, add to the serviceability of this unit.

Convenience Center
The convenience center is located under the instrument panel, on the right side next to the fuse block. This unit houses circuit breakers, relays, chime module and hazard flasher.

Hope helped (remember rated this help) Good luck.

Where is the flasher indicator unit located in a 1996 cutlass ciera

I just replaced the turn signal flasher today in my 1996 Olds Ciera. It was not near the steering column. It's actually behind the fuse box in the glove box but the easiest way to get to it is to remove the ashtray/cigarette lighter and it's harness and reach back to the right behind the fuse box. It took all of 10 minutes to replace. This is not the same as the hazard flasher, just the turn signal one.

Where is the flasher relay unit

1ST double check that all the bulbs for the pass. side turn signals are working. if even one is out it can make the blinker not "blink". so compare the pass. side lights to the driv. side to make sure u did not miss something. NEXT,if thats not the problem, then u can locate the flasher by 1ST looking in the fuse box(probably inside the glove box or under the drivers side dash) theres a good chance it might not be there(years ago every car had the flasher in the fuse box) SO TURN ON THE DRIVERS SIDE BLINKER (key on) and LISTEN OR FEEL UNDER THE DASH FOR THE FLASHERS NOISE--LOOK NEAR THE STEERING COLUMN,BRAKE PEDAL, EVEN BEHIND THE ASH TRAY!! hope this helps you!

Turning signals have quit flashing. bought a elecronic flasher but not a clue where it goes

I had to use a pair of vise grips on the receiver to get a good enough grip and pull the plug like heck. There is another flasher for the emergency flashers located to the right side of the glove box (glove box has to be removed) on the far side of the alarm box for "keys left in ignition"
