2006 F350 Diesel. Need to wire up 12v source for camper fridge.

Where do I pick up the 12v source safely? I have an aux. power take off panel coupled with an elect. brake control unit...does, or will this unit have an impact on my 12v source wiring?

U WILL NEED TO WIRE INTO THE MAIN 12 VOLT SUPPLY WIRE AT THE IGNITION SWITCH AT THE BASE OF THE STEERING COLUMN OR INTO THE POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX UNDER THE HOOD, EITHER LOCATION IS OK, MAKE SURE YOU EITHER FUSE IT OR USE A CIRCUIT BREAKER, RUN A COMPLETE NEW CIRCUIT, DON'T WIRE INTO AN EXISTING FUSED CIRCUIT.

Contact a few of the Camper Supply outfits online. These kits are getting real popular and are getting affordable. Re: wiring, that's going to depend on the kit you go with.

2006 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel 4x4.I want to install four KC Rally 800 HID lights on my truck. I would like all 4 lights to go off when I switch to low beam. The lights will be on relays and rocker switches...

I cant tell you off the top of my head, but the easiest way is as follows.

Turn on your low beams, with a test light or volt meter, find the wire that powers the low beams (it will lose power when you switch to high beam).
Once you have found that wire, wire the lights and relays as if the hot low beam wire is your "switch", it will supply the switch power source the 12v it needs to turn on the power to the lights.

Hope this helps ya out.

they can be, but you have to do it yourself. you would need to source needles either from the same gauges if anyone has any that are dead, or from another vehicle with gauges with needles that are the same design.

Prius has a dead utility battery

Unfortunatly, the Aux Battery on Prius is susecptible to premature replacements. All the Aux battery does is "power-up" the various ECU's which in turn allows the HV battery to start the car. The AUX battery does NOT operate the starter.
