Question about 1994 Volvo 850
Have just bought a pair of new replacement Boot / tailgate gas struts for my Volvo 440 SE car - is this a simple replacement procedure? Any things to watch for? Most grateful for your advice! Thanks - Kit Brinkley

If the strut has just a ball socket and the clip, take a small flathead screw driver and pick the clip up. If it comes off, just slide it back over when you get the strut in place. The clip just holds it in place during use. No big deal and not a stupid question....cautious!
