You may get lucky enough to be able to just remove blower motor for access hole, then use a mirror, fjashlight & shop vac as well as dust mask. Not a fun job, but gotta be done. "whew!"

I have a 2006 trailblazer and none of my dash vents work. The front vent went awhile ago but now defrost and floor vents don't work either. Could it be multiple actuators?

it sounds like you may have a clogged hvac system. if there is a cabin air filter you can check that as they get clogged, also a rodent nest under the cowl panel is possible as they like to nest in the air intake for the hvac but usually there will be a smell. I would check under the cowl cover and see if there is a problem with the air intake first off.

How can I fix a Mode/Blend Door Actuator problem on a 1996 GMC Savana van.

the may have a mouse nest in the air box. I have seen this same problem before. you'll need to remove the glove box and then the four or six screws ( can't remember witch) from the air box and you'll be able to see the doors, heater core and evaporator. the nest will probably be all over in there.

Water leaking into floor vents

You likely have a clogged AC condensation drain tube due to leaves or maybe a mouse nest. Remove the AC blower motor and clean the drain hole out at the bottom of the blower motor housing.

I have a 2001 ford focus. While cleaning out the engin compartment i found a mouse nest in the air conditioner intake under the windsheild. i cleaned it out, but now there is a smell that comes from the...

HI, you can check with your local parts supplier ( Napa, Advance, Auto Zone, ect). There are numerous products out that help get rid of the musty moldy smell that happens in the A/C systems. These products are sprayed into the evaporator cases either through a small opening or a drilled hole. If this doesn't help that wonderful little mouse may have found his way into the case and not made it out and then you will have to the case removed and cleaned out. good luck

I have a 1991 tempo and the vents on das h don't work defroster and heat to floor work great but not the vents

All the vents are connected, a vacuum controlled flap diverts the air to each area.

With that said I would say that either the vents are obstructed by something like a rat/mouse nest or that your vacuum controlled flap is stuck or does not have enough vacuum to move it.

A vacuum leak will sound like a constant hissing sound.

I would remove the heater fan and clean out the mouse nest. They probably climbed into the system through the outside vent.

Defroster, heater, vents, airconditionig not working when turned on

With the engine off, radio too, turn the key on and try the heater fan on all speeds. No fan, check the fuses. Fan is ok, check the coolant level, if thats fine, then check for a mouse nest in the duct work. Frankster016
