93 dodge spirit left turn signals not blinking

dash, blink alert dead. sure its bad. the feed is good.
the FSM covers this, some are easy other much harder.

The signal wire going to the right front has a splice for the dash indicator, a wire branching off from the turn wire and going to the dash. It sounds like that right signal wire is broken or lost a connection before it splices off to the dash, so the problem sounds like it is under the dash, either coming out of the turn signal switch to the flasher or from the flasher to that splice. You may need a multi-meter to check voltages on that wire at various places under the dash. Ascertain which color wire you need to concentrate on. Check for voltage on it with key on and right blinker on-voltmeter will spike to battery voltage, then fall to zero as the flasher breaks voltage continuously, if checked after the flasher. If checked when leaving the turn switch, it should be a continuous signal on that wire. Think you better find a wiring diagram to find the right wire to check. Good luck.

replace the bulbs in the tail light, they are 2 stage, one for parking light and one for brake/signal

You'll have to locate the circuit for the left, rear turn signal at the steering column under the dash. A 12v test light should blink when prodding that circuit and the left turn signal is on. If it does not the problem is in the switch. If it does there is an open in that circuit between the point where the test light is and the left, rear bulb. The problem could be with the socket itself.

Please check your bulbs to make sure the right ones are installed. It sounds like someone put in a single filament bulb where a double filament is required. If it isn't that, there may be a short somewhere. If you have more questions after this, please let us know.

Sounds like wrong bulbs in some sockets

You remove a few phillips head screws on the cover beneath the dash under the knee panel. The hood release is attached to the panel. You can reach it from below or remove the knee panel around the fuse box door. Look for the screws around the trim piece. It's a fairly simple process. You did not say if the right signal blinks ok or not. Assuming it blinks like the left, the best way to find the blinker is to leave the engine off but the key switch on and turn your blinker on. Now LISTEN and you should hear the clicking. If the right side blinker is normal then you may have a bad turn signal bulb or ground to one of the signal bulbs. An easy way to check your turn signal bulbs is to turn on your emergency flashers and look at the bulbs, they all should blink at the same time and with the same brightness. Good Luck
