P1274-a/c Clutch Control Circuit 2 Open You will need the help of the dealer or a factory wiring diagram and diagnostic flow chart to fix this one. I can't find a clear cut answer other than someone that used a fuse for the AC circuit to power another system and the fuse blew out.

The code means there is a break in the circuit for the ac clutch on the compressor. It could be something in the harness or the ac clutch itself. You would need to start at a low pressure switch or relay and test for voltage back to the clutch, or check the resistance of the clutch. Also take a good look at the connectors along the way.
The Dodge forums online talk about the ac clutch not being strong enough to hold up to the demands.

SOURCE: 2006 dodge ram diesel a/c quit comprssor clutch

Your pressures in the system are probably low and the low pressure switch has it cut off. Get some of that quick fill freon kit from autozone. Fill it. If compressor kicks in, then look for a leak. Your leaks will usually have a layer of dark oily substace that dirt gets stuck in. Hope that helps. The leak might be small enough that it dose not need repairs.

SOURCE: I have a 2006 Dodge ram 2500 diesel I can not get

First I thought it was the fuse panel or the power module but with our newer truck the computer told the power module not to send power to my A/C compressor b/c the A/C Clutch was out, (you can't replace just the clutch so I just had to replace the compressor and not the power module b/c the truck's computer told it not to send power this is the same with anything that goes wrong with the truck the computer tells it not to send the correct power to the part that is broken thus it seeming like the part isn't getting power, The power Module (fuse panel) is just doing its job replace whatever went out first or is bad, and the power will naturally be restored or you can go to your dealer and have the Power Module Flashed as they call it which resets it.

SOURCE: 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel truck----need inside fuse box diagram

If you are looking for the fuse box diagrams or any other diagrams for your Ram, check promanuals.net for a factory service manual for around 20 bucks or so. It's an invaluable tool for my Ram 2500.

SOURCE: bypass ac compressor 2006 dodge ram 3500 5.9 L

Hi:
The easiest method to do this is to go to an auto parts store and buy a belt designed for a truck with no air conditioning. The belt will be the right size, and you just install it as normal, and bypass the compressor

I'm getting a F707B and F707A (APS Relay - Contall circuit open) error code on Dodge Ram diesel. Any idea what could this be? Truck runs great - just the AC on passanger side does not work as well as on...

sounds like a wire is disconnected somewhere, check for melted wires, or one that has a lot of grit or corrosion on it. Use a good electrical cleaner. Clear codes and retry your diagnostics test.

2007 Dodge 2500 5.9 diesel. When you turn on AC you can see clutch try and engauge and after 3-4 tries it stops. No AC. If drive around for a while AC starts to work after engine heats up?

Working same problem today on my 2006 Mega Cab Diesel. 2 possibilities. Either the compressor clutch coil is going bad ( totally integrated power module tries to engage it a couple of times, senses the coil resistance is wrong and shuts down) or the TIPM (Total Integrated Power Module) is bad. I'm leaning toward clutch on compressor but still have testing to do to isolate. Could be both, but I doubt it. New TIPM is about $900 it appears from what I read. New compressor is cheaper. May be able to replace just the clutch coil for even less but reading mixed results. Good luck.

On my 2007 Dodge 2500 diesal the AC clutch will not engage. I found the fuse box under the hood and there is only one 10 amp fuse that says hvac. so where is the clutch relay or fuse? Which big fuse...

there is no relay in that box that is called the tipm or totally integrated power module. that module is controlled by a computer and should be checked with a scanner to see if you have a code for the a/c. i m having the same problem i have been told it could be low freon but can not get the clutch to engage to check the high and low pressure. Also read where it may be the diode in the clutch on the ac compressor if you have a multimeter probe the compressor a good compressor will read somewhere between 3.5 and 4.0 anything else and clutch needs to be replaced. other possibilities may be the high or low pressure switch on the line. on myh 2006 2500 diesel it is located near the plug for the compressor on bottom side of motor. hope this helps.

I have a 06 dodge ram 3500 with Cummings diesel.

you have what is known as an open diff. or worn out clutch packs in a limited slip. most makers put in a open diff because its cheaper and handles better. if you did not pay for it on your invoice your stuck with stock unless you put it in your self.

Check the fuses & fusible links. If good then the switch is bad.
