I solved that problem on a 1998. Had to take off the the hood and cowel and right there in front of the passenger seat there's the air intake for the blower motor with a cheapo weatherstripping seal that was flopping all around. Sealed that down with some goop and i havent had any water in years.
Now if you dont have a big leak there you wont get water every time it rains but it will well up in there and splash out randomly.
There's a much easier way to tell if this is your problem without all the work, a two man job, removing the hood. Under the dash on the passenger side you can pull down that blower motor with a few screws. Do it after it rains. If you get wet or see alot of rust on the motor then that's your problem.

I Believe it to be some type of water seal gasket. Instead of spending $300 dollars on a new cowel. I caulked the whole top opening of the cowel to the wind shield. This is the second 98 Grand Prix i have done this to. no more leaks.

I think you can also take of the cowel and reattached a water seal strip. Maybe caulk that back into place, as that is supposed to divert the water to the drain.

Is it water or coolant, if its coolant need to replace heater core. If its water could be door weatherstrip problem or windshield leaking . also can have someone spray water on car and you sit inside and look for water leaks.

I have a 97 grand prix. When it rains water leaks in the front passenger floor board. My a/c doesn't work. When coolent was poured into it it also leaked all in the floor.

your heater core is leaking, that would explain the antifreeze on the passenger floor-as for it leaking there when it rains, there is a piece of molding that sometimes move out of place, it is under the hood on the passenger side, below the vent plate (remove the wiper blade arms, the plate for access)-the ac not working? that could be as simple as low freon, or as bad as multiple leaks, comtaminated system, electrical issues-do you mean the blower motor, because with all that moisture stuff you have going on there I wouldn't be surprised if the blower motor has electrical issues due to the flooding.

The MOST IMPORTANT THING is to fix or bypass the heater core, or you will end up needing an engine if it overheats.

Gets water on passenger side floor when A.C. is on. 2003 grand prix GTP

Your AC drain is clogged. If you look near the floor under the dash on the passenger side you will find a small rubber hose that goes thru the floor board. Take the hose off and clean it out. You will find that it is clogged with dirt. Once it is cleaned out hook it back up under the dash. You will notice that if the car is running with the AC on, you will be able to see water dripping on the passenger side under the car that will mean you cleaned the hose out and it is working.

Check the bottom of the door for clogged drain holes. Could also be a weatherstrip seal leak around the door opening. Worst case there could be a leak around the windshield gasket.

Where is the a/c drain line on a 95 Grand Prix SE

On the bottom of the A/C evaporator box. This case is located under the hood R/R area. To clear the drain you must be UNDER THE CAR. will probably abe a small hole in the plastic casing clogged and blocking the water. Poke this hole GENTLY to clear, lest you damage the A/C EVAPORATIOR. Hope this helps.
