that is not a spacer it is a the sealing gasket. if u are using the correct plugs per the charts then they are not hitting the piston, u have something else going on.

Whats behind spark plugs on a 4.3 liters gmc pick up

Directly behind your sparkplugs are the pistons. If the sparkplug is damaged, it was either the wrong plug and was too long (the piston was hitting the plug), or there is foreign debris in the engine chamber!

When i hit the gas the car acts like its going to stall 95 cadillac sls do you think its a bad spark plug

one bad spark plug will give you a miss. 8 bad spark plugs could cause your symptoms, but I would be checking fuel pressure, and throttle position sensor signals. If all your sparkplugs were bad it would run lousy all the time, not just when you hit the gas. Also, if you are going to change the plugs, change the plug wires as well.

Stuck plug wires

Too funny! You're not being a girl, sometimes those boots are really on there solid! You can try spaying WD 40 on the boots to soften them up. Let it sit for a little while to penetrate the rubber. Make sure you pull only on the boots and not the wires themselves or you'll be replacing wires and plugs. It's okay to twist the boots while you're pulling on them. A little force should break them free. Best of luck

How to change spark plugs on 2003 camry

Find out what your spark plug gap is, and the size of plugs you require from your owners manuel. Purchase a Spark plug socket for your rachett (also a rachett extension if you dont have one) And a set of Gap Measurers. Pull out the spark plug leads from the base making sure you don't pull on the cable (can damage the lead if you yank on the cable instead of the boot) and then screw out the old sparkplug and check for damage/wear. Set the gap on your new sparkplugs and screw them back in using a torque wrench for the final turn or if you don't have one only hand (do the final turn without using the rattchet just grab the wratchet extension and twist with your hand).
