Question about Chevrolet Cavalier

1993 chevy cavalier, 2.2 automatic

My chevy cavalier 1993.2.2 automatic..when the car get hotter i think is when after 20 min and u stop on any light or push the break the car die and u have to wait a while so the car star again...so my question is what could be the problem???

P.S:i changed the trasmition thinking it was the problem but i was worng it keep doing it.

The ignition modgule may be breaking down when it gets hot mt caviler did same thing ,i replaced the modgule been fine ever since
#2 possiblity .. do u hear a hissing sound when u push the brake? is the peddal feeling normal?

I have a 2004 Chevy Cavalier and the back up lights suddenly stopped working. I checked the fuse and it is fine and working cause back up lights are on same fuse as turn signals and they work. The bulbs...


Hello! If the transmission is a standard there is a "back up switch"with the wire colors Pink and Light Green which closes in reverse and applies battery (12 volts) to the lights...If, however, the car has an automatic transmission there is a switch (park neutral) same wire colors that when placed in reverse applies battery to the lights...Either one of the switches is defective...see photos below...Guru...saailer

Water leaking out back of engine - 1993 Chevy


there are freeze plugs on back of block,between tranny and block. there are also ones on each side of block underneath exaust manifold.
