You have to have a small hand, and first remove the retaining ring that is attached to bulb, then pull out bulb, be careful not to let retainer ring fall off from bulb housing, then plug in bulb and try to screw retaing ring back on. It requires a small hand and delicate touch.

hi im a machanic and im doin a bulb change in a ford focus cmax and you have to take the headlight out completely and to do so you will have to take the headlight out and do that you will have to take the bumper off to get to the headlight bults.

there is a rubber cap covering the bulb/socket. pull this off. reach inside and disconnect electrical connector. reach in and turn the locking ring counter clock wise. remove lock ring. grasp back of bulb and pull working up and down. may be a bit difficult because the o ring creates a very tight seal. Reverse directions to install the new one.
