Need a diagram for a windshield wiper motor for 1997 firebird

I have a 97 Firebird that has this issue. Sometimes when the wipers are used (number of passes makes no difference) they stop in the non-parked position. I've studied the schematic and will remove my motor one weekend and check the park relay soldering and contacts if it has a removable cover. I suspect that when the wiper switch is turned off the park relay is failing to allow the wipers to park.

2001 firebird 3.8, slips out of gear on freeway. Automatic tranny is full and no codes are coming up. any ideas?

it would be worth a shot to service the tranny and put some lucas transmission treatment in with the fluid, other than that theres not much more you can do,besides replacing the tranny

O/d light flashes and shifs hard from first to second and from second to first

Check the tranny fluid level. Check the tranny pan for leaks and the lines for kinks or leaks. If you can clear the problem up by topping off the fluid, I would have the tranny fluid and filter replaced for good measure. If the problem persists even with no leaks and proper fluid level, the tranny is most likely getting ready to go. If you have to; I highly recommend replacing the tranny with a used one that has been tested and comes with warranty rather than paying through your nose to have the old one rebuilt. A basic rebuild for your tranny is around $1800.00 and can be higher depending on what's wrong. A good used tranny will most likely be around $600.00. Hope this helps. God bless!

My 1997 cavalier has some thing up whit it some times it shif's hard and if your coming to a stop when the tack get's to about on 1 it jumps up and down then shut's off but if you switch to nutural it wont...

O.k. the shifting thing is ur tranny. U can try to have it serviced or save ur money up. It might be fixxen to go out on you. The reving up and down it could be your mass air flow sensor. try to take your air filter out and clean your air flow sensor. It could be clogged.

I have a 1997 V6 3800 firebird. While going down the road, if you stomp the gas (passing gear)intermintently it bogs down, like bad gas or timimg off. When it does this it's consistent, other times there...

You missed to clean the injectors, go to a good mechanic and have those clean and try it, if problem persists, swap the engine for a 400 or a 454 and you will be rocking the highway.

2001 turn signal fuse/blows when shif to back up manul trans.

The backup switch is likely on the right side of the transmission if it's a manual and left if it's an automatic. Did this solve your problem?
