Question about 1998 Chevrolet Malibu
My 1998 malibu loses power while idleing ie: stopped at a traffic light, and the lights on the dashboard starts dimming. When I start driving again, the lights on the dashboard get brighter like the car has some of the power back. By the time I got home, the battery charging system light was on. What could b happening? thanks.
Your alternator is likely on its way out. you should take your car to a trusted mechanics shop and have the charging system tested. Its only a matter of time until the alternator stops charging and you'll be stranded on the side of the road
Hope this helps..........Good Luck!
