Answered

2000 chevy impala passanger side fuse box and head light switch gets very hot

Also cluster lights come on and then get dim when head light switch is turned on

    i replaced all fuses and relays its not the fuses or relays , fuse box gets very hot , and head light switch does as well i was thinking it was a bcm problem or fuse box burn on the inside anyone had porblems like this ?

    park light fuse blows when head lights are on after like 3 to 5 minutes

The basic problem is too much resistance in a circuit.
You have to figure out which one and where the resistance or short is.
You can take the fuses out one at a time or all at once to see which circuit is pulling too much current.
It could be a faulty ground somewhere and the lights are grounding thru the wrong circuit. Or something shorted together and pulling current thru the wrong circuit. Like the headlights running off the dash light circuit.
You may need a book with wiring diagrams to know what to check.

The only thing I can think of that would explain your problem is a faulty ignition switch.

There are two possible cause of dim display.

On the deluxe trim level of the Impala the is light sensor. When the sensor mis-calibrated the light will not be at the level you want.

As a test,use a small flash light and aim to the sensor and see is the circuit act according it.

The dimmer light is a VERY CHEAP component. I will glow it out with compress air 1st. Turn the dial back and forth 20-30 time in rapid motion will help remove unwanted carbon,

Use a eletrical contact cleaner to clean all contacts.

Is the headlight in OEM specification?

After market headlights may draw more amperage and cause low power for smaller bulbs.

You can't use High Beams as dipped, the spread is different. Just go to another garage, it can only be the bulbs, the connection, the fuses or the relay. In fact you can check all those yourself! It appears to be a known issue on the Impala. Look at the videos

There is an illumination fuse located in the dash fuse box. It is typically a 5amp fuse. Pull the fuse out and see if it is blown. Try replacing the fuse and see if it blows again, if it does there may be an additional problem.

Trying to fix the wiring on headlight
try checking the ground wire on the frame next to the head light if you have a volt meter measure voltage on the hot side, if there is 12 volts then measure it on the ground side, is it lower than 12 volts? if it is you have bad ground strap follow the wire it will be near the radiator core support and sand it off if that does not help then it's in the light switch.

My driver side heated seat has quit working.But passanger side still works.Is there a fuse i can check for this.Thanks 2001 chevy impala
more than likely it is the heating element in the seat that went bad. if there is a light on the switch it should be getting power and the heating elements under the seat coushin do go bad. it is not an uncommon thing.
