all the fuses are good and i have no blower motor speed. Where is the blower motor

  • Anonymous Dec 16, 2008

Similar Problem, but intermittent. I appears that this motor blow heater/AC air. It actually gets stuck. I stop at a Honda Dealer with no AC in July. He hit the unit from below (yes crazy) but it worked and we had AC. I am thinking tears of dust may be blocking the motor from doing its job.

Blower Motor Install for 1995 Honda Accord can be done in less than an hour. Tools needed 8mm socket as small as you can get and Torx Driver. Remove two screwes with the Torx the 3rd will require your small 8mm Socket or Wrench (small). Note you will need to pull back the corne of the rug rel easy remove door sill and part of the gasket in the corner. The 3rd Screw will come out then work the motor out slowly. Use a Long Nose or similar to disconnect wiring connector. A replacement motor is about $50.00 with shipping. (

    Reverse the process to install.

Time to do this is about 45 - 60 min.

Biggest Challenge getting to the screws and getting them out. You will need to be a contortionist.

    Good Luck.....

Its also possible that your blower motor resister has gone - very common and fairly inexpensive part ($20 or so)

The blower motor is located in the passanger foot rest area.
Just to clearify in any position the blower dose not work.

Then more than likely your blower motor has gone bad. Their is a way to test it but you have to jumper power to the blower motor.

I have no power to my heater on a 1997 honda accord

Then you must get wiring diagrams for your heater blower circuits and trace the circuits to find out where the failure is. If the motor was/is bad, there is a good chance that the fuse is blown.

Blower motor replacement

Hello dyer281.
The blower motor on your Accord is mounted in the lower right hand dash just above where the passengers feet would be.
There are three screws that retain it into the heater housing.
Relatively easy to replace.
Hope your repair goes well.

I have 1991 honda accord, heater blower motor does run but very slowly in all speed positions i have removed the blower assbly. and motor seems to turn free. is there a speed control that may be bad ?

If you have removed the blower motor, Connect it to a 12 volt power supply(your battery)with some jumper wires. It should turn fast, be careful when you connect it, have a good grip on it, it will jump just a little. If it dont run fast its junk. The other 2 things
1)The fan switch
2) The resistor that slows the fan at low speeds.

1994 Honda Accord heater nor A/C will not blow air

if your not getting any air coming out of the vents then your problem is your blower motor. test the wire harness to see if its getting power,if it is then your blower motor is bad if its not getting power then check your relay.
