Question about 1993 Honda Accord
My 1993 Honda Accord DX is leaking oil from above the oil filter. We had someone look at it and they said that it was coming from this plug but he didn't know what the plug was, my question is what could this plug be and how to fix the problem. It is not the oil pan gasket either which we origanally thought the problem was.
If the leak is coming directly from above the oil filter it is more than likely the oil pressure switch is leaking. The seal around the Oil pressure switch could have gone bad and now it is leaking.
The oil pressure switch is located right above the the oil filter and above the cooling system cross pipe.
