If you open the hood and look at the top right corner of the radiator, you should see a small rectangular shaped rubber plug with a similar cap over it. Plug your block heater cord (mine came in a separate bag, it's about 2-3 feet long) into this and run the plug out the front of your vehicle's grill using that cap as the way to secure it to the grill.

Not under hood at front of either fender or maybe behind grille. Plug may have a black plastic cover over it, so look real close.

There are two fuse's , one is in the under hood fuse /relay center or as ford calls it Battery junction block and one in the central junction block Blown fuse(s): Battery junction box (BJB) Fuse 6 (15A) and central junction box (CJB) Fuse 18 (5A ,on the lids are the # locations .Are you saying that nothing lights , radio, heater controls , back lighting for the instrument cluster . No check engine light, or any other warning lights . Do all the gauges work ? CJB is located left side of dash . Check the fuse's ! 25309735-p0bbf4gezpmb21wjojjnal1o-3-3.gif

Heater cord ford expedition 01 5.7liter where is it located and how hard is it to change?

Dear Heater Core Hunter,
For your 01 expedition, that has the 5.4 liter motor in it, the heater core is located in the evaporator case assembly, where the blowermotor itself is located,This is a pretty darn good labor intensive job, if you open the passenger front door and get down onyour knees and look up underneath the dash.....that's what you're going to be removing and replacing, the heater core is inside of this black case. Please get back to me if you have any more questions...I'M HERE TO HELP!!!
