Question about 1988 Mazda B2200
1992 b2200 fuel inj.- starts ok. - rough idle & high fuel consump. When hot during morning and afernoon drives (1/2 hour) it looses power, once , on each trip;it could be during a stop or while cruising. When given gas it tends to stall.
After 1 or 2 minutes it will go.
-O2 sensor was replaced by a Mazda shop.
-catalitic conv. replaced
-wires and rotor replaced
The problem persists.
Try checking your Spark plugs (they MUST be the right type, clean, and properly adjusted: and try adjusting your timing. Either or both of these could cause this type of problem Hope it helps. If so, don't forget to rate the answer, will you?

not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can
be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it
can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or
no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition
coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.
