1998 heater coil

Could you help me in my search for a diagram that will help me replace my hater coil. I believe it to be on the passenger side Though I am a bit unsure and would like to see the diagram before I start taking my dash apart...
Thank you in advance...

Jennifer I can get you a diagram of a 96 model with instructions for free if you think this will help, also, I can tell you where to get the factory service manual with step by step instructions an illustrations for 20.00. I don't have any idea of how expereinced you are at this, but would highly recommend you purchase the manual for your car. It will answer all of your questions, Also, why do you know the core is bad? is it leaking? , if so how bad, there are other ways to fix besides replaceing it. The place to go for factory manuals is I highly recommend this for you, unless you have done this before.

The car has a coolant leak from back of engine on passenger side.

Sounds like the drain line from the heater/air conditioning box. There is a drip pan inside the heater box to catch condensation from the A/C coil. Normally, only water comes out of there, but, if the heater core springs a leak (and they do), then the tray catches the coolant and diverts it outside the car. You'll need to confirm the heater core is leaking and if so, replace the heater core. Not a fun job on many cars.....

My passenger side is blowing warm air

Sound like you have a blend door actuator that had stopped working. You have cold AC on the drivers side but not the passenger side? Your car has dual zone climate control where you can adjust either side independently. If you have cold air when you ask for it and hot air when you ask for it then the overall system is working properly, it is just that one side is not moving the blend door between the heater core and the evaporator core. Either you have something inside of the hater box that is keeping the door from moving or that hte motor that is suppose to move the door has quit.

Hi I have a 2002 JGC ltd and it is most likely your dampeners or louvers located behind your temp controls (inside the dash) for driver and passenger sides that control the direction of air flow from air outside in, circulation, heat to windshield, centre and or to floor etc. I had a friend that had heat only to the passenger side and cold air blowing to driver side. He took it in and they replaced stuck dampeners and it was not cheap. Sounds like the tipical problem with heaters.

Misfire on plug #6 probably fouled..need diagram to tell me where #6 is.

Believe it or not you don't need a diagram. Your car (if of recent vintage) should have a ignition control module on top which is mounted a series of coils with spark plug wires attached thereto.

You can find the coils under the hood, passenger side, front engine area, front side of alternator, end of valve cover, mounted on brace.

On the topside, you'll numbers embossed onto the plastic. Go to number 6 (Six) and trace that wire to your number six plug.

Its not hard to change. The hardest part is getting to it. Start by removing the glove box. It should be behind that.
