The problem I have is how to get to the sensor. I can follow the wires and have them unhooked. Is the a special way or tool to unscrew the number one oxygen sensor. I have tried every wrench I have and cannot get to it to turn it.

It is very easy you unscrew the sensor from the housing and then follow the wiring and unplug it from there.

I have enclosed a picture diagram to help you locate the crankshaft sensor, some have two sensors so you will need to look. the first location is behind the crankshaft harmonic pulley. and the other location is on the right side of the engine. hope this is helpful.11_14_2011_5_55_55_pm.gif

Where are the O2 sensors located on a 2001 oldsmobile sillohette 6 cylinder?

the sensors are located on the exhaust system, theres one screwed into the rear manifold and the rest is on the exhaust system, theres always one before the cat converter and one after and depending on the engine size there will be three to four 02 sensors , your van has two 02 sensors they are both on the exhaust here a diagram to help you.68fa23b.jpg

Where is 02 sencer heater (bank 1 sencer 2) located

I believe your car only has a single catalytic converter. If that's the case, then your bank 1 sensor 2 will be the O2 sensor that's located after the Catalytic converter away from the engine
