I have the same problem. The front windows act like they have arthritis or something. When it is 90 degrees or overheating they won't roll down. When it is raining or frigid, they will, sometimes. How much is a switch?

Ok here is what I found, the most common issue listed for your windows is the switch, replace it.

2008 Dodge grand caravan, no power to my 2 front windows , power mirrors and none to my power locks... My middle and back windows still work tho Is this a fuse or could it be a fuse?

No ,not a fuse ,has a circuit breaker . They rarely go bad ! I looked at a wiring diagram to see what could be causing your problem . You have no power to front windows or locks ? Where did you test ? the switch ? Where ? You need to know how the system works before you can test , an a factory scan tool is essential ! Your switch is a low voltage signal to the door modules ,an the DDM - driver door module is connected to the PDM - passenger door module on a serial data network or data bus as it is called ! Your best bet is to take your vehicle to the dealer or a ASE certified repair shop , Because you lack the knowledge an tools to fix this !

I have a 2001 Saab 9-3 convertible that has a problem with both of the rear side windows not working and also main swithch that controls front and back not working for two rear side windows. Both front...

Bruce, ur best bet would be to replace the main control switch. change that switch and most likely all will be good. find urself a used main control (window) switch in the front or between front seats. buying used will be a hard find but still u will save money on that.

I hope this work out for u.

Check your fuse box ,on newer cars and trucks they are large metal encased fuses usually under the hood in relay box or under back seat, should be able to find exact location in owners manual .

Windows don't come down on a 2000 jeep cherokee

NO windows are working ?
If its the front windows , then pull up further when ordering from the drive thru ...
or you can check the fuses and see that they are good for the power windows.

Saab 93 2001 front windows blow a fuse putting windows down

The window motor is working too hard go to Napa and ask for the silicon lube made for windows and lube up the window rims and guides this should allow the motor to work less hard.

First off does the window switch on the passenger side? if it does then you may just need the drivers side window switch. The front and the back windows work seperate from each other.
