I have a 96 Corsica as soon as I start my car anytime of the day or night my Radiator fan comes on and runs until I turn my car off. My car is not overheating or leaking anywhere that can be seen. My coolant level is good.

The temp sensor is probably stuck in the open or hot position the fan temp sensor probably needs to be replaced. It could also be that you have a short in the wiring harness......most sensors like this complete the ground circut so if the wire is touching a ground some where the fan will think the sensor is telling it to run. check the wiring harness first itll be the cheapest to repair. these sensors are generally somewhere on the intake manifold.

Sounds like you have a loose connection somewhere. You will need to remove the light and start tracing the wires.

My 2005 Chevy Impala overheating on off for a long time replace the radiator replaced a water pump replaced the thermostat and the problems still exist over heats 2 red zone then pull over and let cool...

Have you had the radiator serviced and the thermatic fan oil checked? The radiator may be blocked and if the thermatic fan is faulty It wont lock up to cool your engine.

2001 BMW 325ti Wagon Radiator Fan turns on by it self in the middle of the night or day even if the car wasn't driven. could this be the control module, is it located on the fan shroud?

Hi matthew,

The auxiliary fan for your car is known for internally shorting to power. The fan could run continuously until the battery is completely exhausted. I would recommend having it checked/ and or replaced soon. The fan is replaced as an assembly unfortunately.

Where is the heater core located on a 1994 chevy corsica?

the heater core for this vehicles located behind the glove box on passenger order to remove it,you will need to be mechanically inclined.are you?do you have the tools to do so?8mm sockets and ratchet? you will need patience! if not,i recommend you ask your mechanic to replace it. but 1st i will ask these questions. is it the heater core? is fluid leaking onto the passenger side floorboard? that's one sign of a bad heater core. no heat? have you checked the fluid level in your radiator? does your cooling fan come on when the engine's at operating temperature? if not, then it may be a bad temperature sensor at the radiator. it may also be a bad fan relay in the main fuse box under the hood in the main fuse box[black box w/lid under the hood.lift the cover off of it and under the lid,it tells you fuse and the relay locations.if you turn your a/c on and the fan comes on,and does'nt come on when the engine gets hot,the fan sensor may be bad.the fan sensor that tells the fan to come on when the engines running hot. thank you,for choosing fixya, com!

Fan by the radiator stays on after the car is turned off

some models will allow the fan to continue to run after the key is turned off Check to see if there is a sticker somewhere near the radiator that says "fan may start at anytime even when engine is not running"of something like that.......if not it is probably the fan sensor switch.........they are usually either in the intake manifold or sometimes in the radiator.(also in the housing near the thermostat)
