The R&R is about a 4.5 hour job. Like painting though, preparation counts. Flush before the change out and after since this is the best time to clean out the rear heater core. Replace all 3 molded hoses and use Toyota coolant.

Shouldn't take more than a few hours if you've never done it before.

93 ford tempo vapor lock

What part of the country are you located in? is it hot in that area alot? see if you can follow your fuel lines if they are not inside of a frame rail from the fuel tank forward. you could wrap your fuel line once it comes out of the rail going to the fuel distribution area of the motor. it might be to close to a heat source which boils the fuel before it get to atomized.

Seemed algud until the damn radiator burst a hole thru the top end,i ddnt reali get any warning from the temp gauge, there was steam everywea but iv also noticed the residue on the car was a brown...

Absolutely no idea but the brown sludge residue is caused by the fact that it has been run with no antifreeze causing internal corrosion of the engine ,,now the radiator that you obviously bought second hand could be the problem ,drain cooling system and flush then add some caustic soda about half a cup and add to a cold radiator then top up with water and run engine for about half hour then flush again in all directions using the heater pipes ,refill with water and try it and if its ok add the 50% antifreeze if its not ok then its a head gasket new thermostat and possibly a NEW radiator

Free owners manual for 1993 jeep grand cherokee

unfortunetly there isnt a owners manual online that is free. I have just searched countless database that would have such. Im sure thats not what you want to hear. But sometimes the correct answer isnt the most favorable. I can provide you with a repair manual for 84-93 xj series cherokee's. But if there is something you want specifically to know about the 93 jeep cherokee you can let me know and i am confident i could help assist you. thanks, MIDWEst-Tek

Nothing after 1995, because from 1996 on the transmissions are for OBD II. Your truck has OBD I.

ITS GONNA BE ON THE BACK LEFTSIDE OF YOUR ENGINE. YOU WILL HAVE TO JACK THE CAR UP TO GET TO IT.MAKE SURE TO HAVE ANOTHER PERSON THERE WITH YOU. CHOCK THE BACK WHEELS SO IT WON'T ROLL ON YOU. USE JACK STANDS TO HELP HOLD UP THE CAR. GOOD LUCK

Replace Altenator 93 Nissan 300Z-How hard? Hours?

I am a 300zx over for 5 years now. Replaced a few alternators in many other z's too.

For a newbie expect a couple hours. Remove the radiator and hoses.. will make it much easier.

Expect a shop to charge atleast 2 hours. Shop rates are around $90-$125 an hour!
