1994 toyota pickup turn signals blowing fuses

My 94 Toyota pickup keeps blowing the fuses for the turn signals. I can replace the fuses, but when I start driving, they blow again. i think it happens when I turn, but not always. This alos takes out the emergency flashers. Could this be in the turn switch in the sterring column?

It could be the turn switch, and or a lose contact, or as well bulb seating is having problem, and check the wiring system

you may have a short of some kind, when a fuse blows repeatedly it is no good just replacing, you are being told that something is wrong with the equipment.
You will almost certainly have to visit a technician for a diagnosis. It is unlikely to be something that an inexperienced end user can sort out I am afraid.

GOOD LUCK

Cause fuse keep blowing

You have a short. you will need patience to route the wires from the harness to the light source, and to inspect for frail damaged wires.

Turn signal blowing fuses

have you changed the bulbs before it started blowing fuses? if so make sure you replaced with the correct wattage. or if you have added aftermarket they can require a higher amp fuse than the factory specs. otherwise try checking for corrosion or frayed wires that may be creating a short.

Location of heater blower fuse for 94 toyota pickup

this question comes up often ... Fixya could use a better search function. On my 94 from Japan ... you need to remove the glove box (3 screws across top, screw and bolt across bottom) and then the heater and alternator fuses are in a small covered fuse box approximately where the upper passenger side door hinge attaches to body.

1994 TOYOTA PICKUP A/C FUSE WHERE IS THIS LOCATED

Mine's in a different location than the previous post ... I've got a '94 Xtra Cab from Japan (pre-Tacoma). Pull the glove box ... 3 screws across the
top and then a screw and bolt below. There's a small covered fuse box for a/c and heater on passenger side about where the upper door hinge
attaches to body.
