Question about 1999 Buick Park Avenue
Smoke came from the Key sw. when I tried to start it , When I finaly started it the Radio and gg went dead. I replace the Key sw. and the Radio and gg are still dead , I have cked all the fuses under the hood. and all were OK did I miss something?
The fuse block is under the dash on the left side just to the right of your emergency brake. you might have to take some plastic off to get to it. I know your key part of the switch is in the steering column but the actual ignition switch is under the dash on top of the steering column . There is a rod that runs from the key part to the switch. But anyway check there and let me know.
God Bless Greg

The fuse for the radio is in a fuse box under the back seat. I had to replace it this summer.
