Where is the fuse for the heater in a 1997 Lincoln Continental?

I want to check the fuse for the heater in my 1997 Lincoln Continental. Please tell me where the fuses are located.

There are two fuse boxes.

the main one is on the drivers side near the pedals(i believe) and the other one is under the hood..

the heater fuse should be in the primary on...

confused... Is this a Lincoln or Pontiac? Could be control head not supplying power to Heater unit. Could be fuse. Could be bad blower motor check motor with direct 12 volt power supply to verify motor.

Does the odometer work? If so,you'll have to pull the gauge cluster out to send for repair.If the odometer doesn't work either,you may have a bad or disconnected VSS(vehicle speed sensor-located on the tailshaft housing of the transmission)

you should have 12 volts at battery with engine off.
should have about 14 volts if charging.
what are you getting?

check fuse 20 in power distribution box on left side of engine compartment.

dash fuse panel (behind left side of dash)
power distribution box (in engine compartiment,above left wheelwell)

1997 lincoln continental air suspension


there are 2 fuses for the air suspension module fuse #28 in the inst panel fuse box and fuse #22 in the power distribution box in engine compartment make sure the fuses are good the module controls the air susp and the variable steering if the fuses are ok you will have to see if there is power at the module pins # 1, 36, 37, 56, 57, 58
