First thing to do is go to Advance Auto parts and have them check the battery and the alt. to see if they are working OK. If they check out OK. Look of a light that may be staying on. Glovebox light, vanity mirror on sunvisor.under hood lamp, dome light (if it is and automatic shut off it may not be working right. Other thing could be wrong but those are the most likely.
Good luck Jerry

Battery completely drained after 45 mins of listening to cd player without car running,

a healthy battery will take a charge and discharge and be o k -you have several things going on-the ticking noise is some kinda rely that is turning on and off probably because of low voltage-the voltage jumping around sound like the alternator is giving up and is not fully charging battery-you may also have a drain on the battery that doesn't stop when you turn the key off like an extra power amp for the radio- you can take your car to autozone or advanced auto and they will check out the charging system for free and tell you what is going on-cheers Denny

First problem won't start unless I jump across

Okay I want to say get an ignition switch for the starting problem. The wire that makes the solenoid work comes from the s terminal on the ignition switch. The ignition (i) side of the ignition switch goes to the coil. The running and dying could be the coil. Both wires start at the ignition switch. Check those two wires for connections. Take out the switch and see if the (i) and (s) terminals do anything when you turn the key.

The f150 93 truck won't crank unless relay is jumped

I had this problem on my F250. I actually just ended up putting in a switch that by passes the relay and brings power directly to ignition. Turn off switch so you dont drain battery, and turn on switch to start car.

Mitsubsihi eclipse

Hi,

Based on your posting, it would seem that an electrical component of your vehicle is draining the charge of the battery. Perhaps what could be done is to isolate the different components. The easiest would be tow remove all the fuses and install them one by one until one is determined to be causing the drain. Suspects would be the car stereo or its amplifier, clock, cabin/door light, alarm systems, delay off of auxiliary fans.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
