Yeah its sounding like you have your timing out, when you put your foot to the floor your increasing your air / fuel and it can compensate some for your problem but soon as you let it try and idle it stalls. You will have to go back to your timing belt and double check your timing marks. Your local parts store will be able to sell you a simple repair manual that will walk you through it step by step.
