Question about 2001 Daewoo Lanos

Heating not working

The heating on my 2002 Lanos has stopped working. Took it to the garage and they changed the thermostat. Still not working. They tried everything, then gave up. Water is heating up and going into the dash, pump is working but water coming from the dash is cold. Any suggestions?

I had a similar problem with my 02 grand am, which i still own and i changed the thermostat and it seems to have fixed the problem so far. Keep your heat on high while driving and make sure ther'es enough coolant. The thermostat is relatively easy to change and only cost 10 dollars new.

Truck is over heating. changed thermostat. still

Hello, you may have a blockage some where in the system or possible air in the system. Double check your coolant levels, your cooling fans make sure they are coming on. Hope this is helpful.

The thermostat could be stuck closed. It also could be the cooling fan motor
