Question about 2006 Hyundai Elantra

2006 Hyundai Elantra horn does not work

I have had my Elantra at the dealer three times so far. My horn just stops working. Dealer states that they replaced and my horn will be working when I leave dealer, but then, when I need it, it does not work. I am taking back for the fourth time. Dealer stated it must be a problem with the part they replace.

without seeing there notes it could be anything from the horn button to the wiring to the horn.

Hi the only things i can think of here would be the following

Faulty horn switch

Faulty horn (the bit that goes beep ;-)

The relay for the horn

or somewhere in the wiring it is shorting out and making the horn fail

I wouldnt let the dealer give me the car back until they have checked all of these all very simple jobs

Hope this helps

Regards
Steve

06 elantra not getting hot air while stopped.

if your sure the radiator is full, the only difference between highway speed and slowing to a stop is engine RPM's.
That means the water pump is not turning as fast,
It's possible the water pump is going bad,you should ask a Hyundai dealer if there are any TSB's on this problem.

Every time I fill up my 2002 Hyundai Elantra at gas station

Stop and talk to a dealer to see if they have a TSB on this problem,
Dodge had this problem and they corrected it by installing new tanks.
