I am wanting to install a G Force Preformance Chip. The instructions from GForce say that there may be a 2wire ,3,4,5 or 6 wire IAT sensor and is by the air intake to the air cleaner.???? don't seem to be right . Also the wire color on the chip unit is one Red and one Black wire. Thanks Need some Help

Your vehicle dose not have a maf sensor. They used a map sensor it is on the engine located under the front of the breater where it attaches to the engine.

That is not a chip, it is a resistor in a fancy package. It cost about a dollar to make it. Jet also makes one. All it does is increase the resistance in your IAT circuit so that the PCM thinks the air coming in is colder than it actually is. Since most PCMs will add timing in colder air, you can get a bit of a perforance boost this way. The problem is, modern OBD 2 systems constantly checks itself and sensors. Since the PCM also reads a mass air flow sensor and an oxygen sensor, it eventually sees that there isn't as much air getting in as expected (since colder air is more dense) so it recalibrates the air temperture sensor thinking it is fautly. So, after a couple of days your 'chip' won't make any difference at all and in some cases it can actually cause the service engine light to come on. Also, the claims they make about these chips are unfounded and ridicuouls. Even a real chip or programmer can't expect more than a 15% gain. There is no way this IAT mod will add more than 3% and that will only be the first time you drive it. Try to get your money back and find a real chip or programmer for your car. If you are just bent on putting a resistor in your IAT wire, go get one from Radio Shack for a dollar and pocket the rest of the money.
