1997 mitsubishi mirage - turn signals not working, tried to replace the switch with one from Autozone but it did not fit. The one in fuse box is 4 prong and the Autozone one was only 3 prong. Had to pull the old one to show them at the store, they said it was special order, but now my speedomter and odometer are not working since i pulled out the switch and put it back in?

SOURCE: 1998 mitsubishi mirage wont start?

check if the fuel pump is working, if you have someone near the tank and someone else crank motor you should be able to hear a bzzzzzz rom the tank from the pump. if no noise is heard then hit or thump the tank, this can make a fuel pump start to work again, if it starts, then the pump is almost dead

I purchased a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage and then realized I did not have break lights. All other lights on the vehicle work great. Hazards and turn signals also work fine. Bulbs are good. Fuses look fine but...

Check all fuses first. Some fuse blocks are in the engine area, passenger area and in the trunk. If the fuses are ok, check or replace the actuator switch near the top of the brake pedal arm. If you can twist and lay on your back, you can usually remove and replace it pretty easily.

Could be the turn signal switch.
There should be a fuse for the turn signals and one for the headlights.
They are different circuits.

Blinkers dont work on my 1989 mitsubishi mirage but hazards do?

Turn signals are operated by a different fuse then the hazard flasher - start by checking the fuses - if they are okay you may have a seperate flasher unit for the turn signals too - you may need to replace the flasher unit - hope this helps - good luck :O)

1997–00 Mirage engine compartment fuse location chart

The turn signal and hazard flasher unit is located in the interior fuse panel located under the driver's left side knee protector. They are replaced by simply pulling them straight out. Note that the prongs are arranged in such a way that the flasher must be properly oriented before attempting to install it. Turn the flasher until the orientation of the prongs is correct and simply push it firmly in until the prongs are fully engaged

Brake lights dont work

there should be a little sensor somewhere behind the brake pedal at the top, if you have checked everything else, try replacing this. (easy job)
