Should be between the crank dampener and the block, i mean they are all relatively the same on all cars should be the only wires running close to the crank dampener

on the 2.2 the crankshaft censor is under the coil packs on the passenger. It's has a 10mm nut with a thread sticking out the top of it. Not to be confused with the two censors in front of the coil pack which are camshaft censors

Where is the cold start valve or injector located on a 1998 isuzu hombre pickup?

Check for spark to the plugs. If you don't have it, look at the crankshaft position sensor. If you do, then look at replacing the fuel filter. Clogged filters will give you pressure. But not volume. I would replace it anyway.

Crankshaft position sensor

Spray sensor at the block due to o-ring being dry and it is binding. After spraying it rotate sensor gently and work it in and out and rock it back and forth and keep spraying it with lube. It WILL take some time. Once removed lube the new one with anti-seize very well. Let me kniow if I can be of any further assistance.

Crankshaft Positioning Sensor

on a 1996 3.2 L engine the crankshaft positioning sensor is located on the passenger side ! it's easier to access if you remove the tire reach through fenderwell ! it's a ****** to get to. its actually kinda behind and to the rear of the engine mount.

Locate and repair of a 1998 isuzu hombre throttle sensor

The throttle position sensor is normally not repairable but is replaced as an item.
If you are unable to locate or recognize the sensor, you might want to consider spending $20 US for a service manual for your Isuzu:
